Le pouvoir du bagde - The Power Of The Bagde

Un agent du DEA* (Drug Enforcement Administration) s'arrête dans un ranch du Texas pour parler à un fermier  "Monsieur, je dois inspecter votre ranch pour de la culture illégale de drogue".

Le fermier répond "O.K. mais n'allez pas dans ce champ là-bas, en pointant le lieu du doigt".

L'officier explose "MONSIEUR, J'AI L'AUTORITÉ DU GOUVERNEMENT FÉDÉRAL, en prenant son badge dans sa poche arrière et le montrant fièrement au fermier, VOYEZ VOUS ÇA?

CE BADGE SIGNIFIE QUE JE PEUX ALLER OÙ JE VEUX, ET CELA SANS JUSTIFICATION

AVEZ- VOUS COMPRIS ? SUIS-JE ASSEZ CLAIR?"

Le fermier hoche la tête poliment et retourne à ses corvées.

Quelques minutes plus tard le fermier entend des cris et des hurlements et aperçoit l'officier courir à toute allure pourchassé par CHARLIE le taureau.

À chaque enjambée le taureau gagne du terrain sur l'officier, et avant qu'il ne se rende à la clôture, le taureau l'aura sûrement rattrapé, sur ce, le fermier laisse tomber ses outils et court vers la clôture.

Il se met à crier à l'officier

"VOTRE BADGE, MONTREZ- LUI VOTRE BADGE!!!"

A DEA officer stops at a ranch in Montana , and talks with an old  rancher. He tells the rancher, 'I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs.'
The old rancher says, 'Okay, but do not go in that field over there' as  he points out the location'.
The DEA officer verbally explodes saying, 'Mister, I have the authority  of the Federal Government with me.' Reaching into his rear pants  pocket, he removes his badge and proudly displays it to the farmer. 'See  this badge?
This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish...on any land. No  questions asked or answers given. Have I made  myself clear? Do you understand?'
The old rancher nods politely, apologizes, and goes about his chores.
A short time later, the old rancher hears loud screams and sees the DEA  officer running for his life chased close behind by the rancher's prize  bull. With every step the bull is gaining ground on the officer, and it  seems likely that he'll get "horned" before he reaches safety. The  officer is clearly terrified.
The old rancher throws down his tools, runs to the fence and yells at the  top of his lungs.....
'Your badge...Show him your badge !!!'
