Gem Club

Je n’aurais jamais pu prétendre être un orfèvre, je suis une piètre personne dans les travaux manuels. Je n’ai ni la patience, ni le doigté pour façonner. Je préfère travailler dans les mines, suer pendant des heures dans le noir, seul, pour y dénicher la pierre qui renferme une pépite… L’autre jour, ma pioche a accroché sur ce que je pensais n’être qu’un gros caillou, un de plus. Et pourtant, après l’avoir débarrassée puis rincée et nettoyée, je découvre un des plus beaux joyaux. L’éclat de Gem Club est si puissant, si profond qu’il m’a littéralement ébloui m’obligeant même à détourner le regard quelques instants.

Gem Club viennent de terminer leur Ep « Acid and Everything » qui devrait sortir dans le courant de l’été, peut-être avant… Ensuite, Christopher et Kristen iront présenter leur bijoux pendant une mini-tournée sur la côte Est des États-Unis… Un album est déjà en préparation… Une éclatante découverte, je suis dorénavant de leur Club… Un vrai bijou !

I couldn’t ever have been a goldsmith, I’m mediocre with arts and crafts. I’m not patient enough nor tactfull with handmade things. I rather work into the coal mound, sweat for hours in the dark, alone, to find out the stone full of gold nugget… The other day, my pick sticked what I thought to be a big stone, one more. And yet, after I cleant it, I found one of the most beautiful gems. The sparkle of Gem Club is so bright, so intense, that I was totally blind then and I had to look away a few moments.

Gem Club just finished their EP « Acid and Everything » and it should be released during summer maybe before… Then Christopher and Kristen will show their jewells on a mini tour on the East Coast. They also prepare an album… A bright discovery, now I’m a member of their Club… A real gem !
