Tennis, Sponsoring | Zvonareva secures three-year deal with Prince

The women's world number 22 tennis player Vera Zvonareva has signed an exclusive endorsement deal with equipment and sportswear brand Prince of US$1 million on 3 years.
Zvonareva will carry the Prince Tour Team racquet bag and use the new Prince EXO3 Black 100 racquet, the choice of nearly a dozen WTA and ATP Tour players including Gael Monfils, Maria Sharapova, the Bryan brothers and Shahar Peer. She will also represent the brand in a range of promotional activities.
Zvonareva said: "I trust Prince and the quality of the racquets they produce and know that the company is continually thinking about ways to take my game to a higher level."
Helge Capell, who is the director of global tour at Prince Sports, Inc., added: "Vera is a fantastic talent, very athletic, and a tough competitor who is very capable of putting together strong showings at the major events and winning a Grand Slam."   [Via]
