Puma has extended its contract as official kit sponsor of the Czech Republic national soccer team ahead of the country's efforts to qualify for Euro 2012. The Czech Republic failed to qualify for this summer's Fifa World Cup, and recently suffered an embarrassing defeat to Scotland. Under the agreement, Puma will remain the official supplier of all on-field, sideline, training and representation apparel and equipment to all Czech FA associated national teams. Czech FA president Ivan Hašek said negotiations had been difficult but that terms had been improved on the previous deal, with Czech sources thus concluding the new partnership would be worth in the region of US$3 million per year during 4 years. Puma's partnership with the Czech FA has existed since the year of the country's conception in 1996. [Via]
