Vogue Covers

As you may have seen it before in the documentary « The September Issue », and you probably suspect it, the choice of the cover, the typography, the color, the text, all of this for a magazine have their importance and nothing must be neglected. Concerning magazines which have never failed, we found the very well-known French Vogue, with its prodigious covers, both anticipating trends and reflecting the atmosphere of their time.   Pictures of household names as Andy Warhol, Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, Helmut Newton and others, could be found. 

And what is better to celebrate the 90 years of the beloved magazine, than creating the event with the exhibition « Vogue Covers », taking place on the Champs Elysées since the 1st of October and lasting to the 1st of November. It's the opportunity to go through history by being carried away by mythical covers of Vogue, since its first publication in 1920 to nowadays.
