Épi de maïs - Corn on the cob

Hier midi, mon chum pis moé, ont a mangé du bon blé d'inde. Ma préférence est le 2 couleurs. Ils est si tendre et sucré, du vrai bonbon!
Mon chum préfère le jaune, le massif, c'est comme ça que j'appel le maïs jaune. À chacun ces goûts.
Finalement, je suis retourner à la fermette pour m'en acheter une douzaine, soit 6 jaune et 6 deux couleurs. Je les aies blanchis et mis dans un sac Ziploc pour congélateur et je les aies mis au congélateur. J'en aurai pour cette hiver. Pas de la conserve, Non! Du frais congelé. J'aurai juste à les plonger dans l'eau bouillante à peine 5 minutes. Et voilà, du bon maïs en épi.
Je trouve que le prix est élevé cette année, il se vend $5.00 la douzaine. J'ai déjà vu dans le passé, à cette période de l'année ou il se vendait à $2.00 la douzaine. La raison, peu de soleil et trop de pluie cette année encore.

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I had some corn on the cob. I prefer the 2 color one, it's sweet and tender. My boyfriend prefers the yellow one. I find that the yellow one is massif. To each it's taste. Finaly, I went back to the mini farm, and got a dozen of corn on the cob, 6 two colors and 6 yellow. I blenched them and put them in Ziploc back and frozen them. I will have some this winter. Not the can one, but the fresh frozen one. I will just need to add them to boiling water for about 5 minutes. And voilà! fresh corn on the cob. I must say, they are expensif this year, they sale $5.00 a dozen. I have seen in the past, at this time of year where they were sold at $2.00 a dz. The reason, too much rain and not enough of sun again this year.
