Hier fin d'après midi rencard est pris avec mon ami Karim de la boutique Chez Youri !
Ont discute comme d'hab et tout a coup... Attention le spectacle va commencer ! heuuuu ! je suis parti loins sur ce coup là mdrrr. Michel !? Michel Fugain ! Si tu me li excuse me . Re prenons Karim toujours lui, et oui Chez Youri il ne sont que 2 vendeur,Youri et bien sur ? Karim, y'en a trois qui suivent ! Attention j'ai les noms mdrrrrrr .Bon aller j'arrete mes plaisenterie lol . Donc il me sort la galette,la galette qui fait mal au oreille .
Une bio s'impose...
Au cours des années soixante, la chanson Kabyle, se contentait de ressasser les mêmes thèmes sur fond d’orchestration imprégnées d’un orientalisme peu en rapport avec les lignes mélodiques originales.[…]. En 1967, deux immigrés, férus à la fois, de la tendance ambiante, incarnée par la vague des rockers aux noms américanisés et de musique du terroir, se rencontrent, se découvrent pas mal de goûts communs et créent un groupe renforcé par deux autres musiciens, Samir et Mehdi. Le chanteur guitariste Karim, de ses noms et prénom SID Mohand Tahar, né un 20 février à Tifilkout (Illilten), et l’organiste Shamy Elbaz, CHEMINI Abdelkader, pour l’état civil, né un 26 octobre à Tilatiouine (Bejaia). Le nom de guerre est puisé dans l’histoire et renvoie à la souche des BRANES, évoqué par l’historien sociologue Ibn Khaldoun dans ses « Prolégomènes ».
En fin de ces années soixante, Les Abranis auxquels se joindront le batteur Arezki BARROUDI, et le bassiste Hachemi BELLALI, étaient trop en avance sur le temps : le public Kabyle n’était pas prêt à écouter les instruments électriques, rompant avec la tradition, même s’il se délecte des guitar-heroes de Woodstock et Wight. La formation et ses membres portant cheveux longs et patte d’Eph déroute au début. Il a fallu attendre un contexte plus favorable, celui de l’esprit 70, lorsque la chanson Kabyle a commencé à imposer sa loi moderniste sur le marché maghrébin et international.
En 1973, les Abranis se rendent à Alger pour participer au premier Festival National de la chanson et remporte un prix. Une apparition à la télévision algérienne leur permet de populariser leur répertoire et leur ouvre les portes d’une tournée triomphale dans de nombreuses villes algériennes. Ces succès se concrétisent par d’autres enregistrements et la discographie impressionnante des Abranis en regorge. En France, où ils sont de retour, la communauté leur réserve, à chacun de leurs passages, un accueil enthousiaste.
A l’extérieur, ils se font remarquer avec leur Rockabylie ( de la musique moderne mais non occidentale, précisent–ils souvent) dans diverses festivals. Finalement, l’âme Amazigh semble se sentir à l’aise dans un flot électrique habilement canalisé d’autant que les thèmes ( amour, social et revendications culturo-politique) l’alimentent bien.

Many people would say that the ABRANIS is a quite well-known group. In fact, from their first passage on television in Algeria in 1973, the group has conquered a wide public and has enraptured a whole generation of young people with eager modernity, who already wanted to break the monotony wittingly entertained and promoted by our cultured planners who wanted to put finally away in the old heritage status the language and the « Amazigh » culture. The ABRANIS group with a lot of boldness and talent arrives in time to cross deep project of our assimilators in restoring a new breath to our song, followed in that by those that by those that the regretted kated yacine, righly named, the maquisards ‘ song.
Modernize and contribute to the enrichment of the Algérian song, such was the project of the group, our project !
Twenty years have aldready been spent, in these twenty years the group has bestowed very good songs upon us some of the them as « Linda », « Tizizwa », « Abehri », have become classical ones. After having travelled through Europe and North Arica, the Abranis decide to make a break.
It isn’t a question of resignation but of silence that they have accouted to give us a film in two parties « Amezrny in Abranis » of pictures and texts of great richness this film realizes by Karim, recalls us the story and itinerary of the group. In fact, in the twinkling of an eye which predicted the great coming back.
Faithful to their convictions, anxious about the present, but also of the future, Karim and Shamy undertake to plan once more some future date our song, to intensify Abranis and joining to them a musician whose itinerary has been layed out by encounters, and passions who have brought up his experience and his ability in the topic of modern language, whose contribution on the rhythm has set fashion.
His contribution in the evolution and development of the Algerian song, since the seventies has been determinant to have brought in his help to our greatest agents, as well as for the recording than for spectacles and also to have signed a number of arrangements for the so said « Young generation ».

This joyous news comes to us with this new perspective of the group whose originality rightly deserves to be well-known.
As a matter of fact, at the time when the majority of our vedettes hurl towards the foreign capitals to record, our trio, however residing in this great cultural capital that Paris is, takes the opposite step in recording in Algiers and suggests us here 100% product made in Algeria.
This responsible and courageous step is one at the same time a challenge and a message.
Challenge , in a word, it’s possible today to manage nice things in our country.
Message, in a word music, an be the memory of our time to make known injustices and showing the way to a place for thinking over. Who are we ? and which society are we going to build up for the future ?
Message, in a word too, the words concerning love, toleration and hope have become concrete for million of Algerians who go on fighting to the risk of their life to maintain the acquired knowledge of a new-born democracy where everyone risks one’s own skin at a higt price and overtake up the train of modernity at down of this third millenary.
