The Church of Scientology, considered by many countries as a religion, is on justice’s watch in France. From this Monday on, the church of scientology is being trialled for illegal exercise of pharmaceutical and fraud.
The persons indicted in this case face a 10 year jail sentence and up to 1 000 000 € fee, more, the church of Scientology itself faces dissolution if convicted with the charges.
Scientology primary chooses its victim within the range of depressed or insecure people. By letting them pass a so-said free personality test, which has no scientific viability, they trap their victims. As an example, the newspaper Le Monde quotes this woman who spent more than 20 000 euros worth of “communication and life reparation” by purchasing books, drugs and an electrometer.
This device, which is supposed to measure one’s “mental charge” has been proved to be a con.
There is no sure state has for the final judgement, given the fact that the French prosecutor has required a “non lieu” (which means there is no use for judging the facts, as there are no proofs to assure the conviction of the suspects) stating that the scientologists were only moved or guided by their faith, thus not being victims of any scam.
