Riddarna is a brand new Swedish band, born in the countryside of Gotland, which lives now in Gothenburg. When I say "brand new", I do mean brand new: it has been existing for only a couple of months.
According to them, they are "on a mission : to make innovative rock music in Swedish - one of the strangest languages in the world". Ambitious. One thing is certain though : Riddarna sounds A LOT like Queens of the Stone Age! But as their lyrics are in Swedish, the whole thing sounds quite unexpected and amazing. A true curiosity.

Riddarna est un tout nouveau groupe suédois qui vit aujourd'hui à Göteborg, mais est né dans l'obscurité de la campagne du Gotland. Quand je dis "tout nouveau", je veux bien dire tout nouveau : le groupe n'existe que depuis deux ou trois mois.
A les écouter ils ont "une mission : faire du rock innovant en suédois - l'un des langages les plus étranges du monde". Ambitieux. Une chose est sure : Riddarna sonne BEAUCOUP comme Queens of the Stone Age ! Mais les paroles sont en suédois, si bien que l'ensemble est plutôt étrange et surprenant. Une vraie curiosité.
