Le cabinet d'architectes australien d'Andrew Maynard, dont je vous ai déjà parlé ici, a réalisé une extension façon loft, à la référence directe à Dark Vader, à mon humble avis. Cette extension est en effet un squelette d'acier noir strié sortant littéralement de son mur d'enceinte environnant, et créant une rupture avec la symétrie caractéristique des toits du quartier de style Victorien. Cela crée un vaste corridor avec mezzanine et cour intérieure très design. L'utilisation du verre permet un effet dedans / dehors très intéressant.
''The australian architects Andrew Maynard, of which I have already mentioned here carried out a loft extension order, the direct reference to Dark Vader, in my humble opinion. This extension is indeed a skeleton of steel black striped literally leaving its surrounding wall, and creating a break with the symmetry characteristic of the roof area of Victorian style. This creates a wide corridor with mezzanine and a courtyard design. The use of glass allows an inside / outside very interesting.''
