Just a little not-newcomer post for today cause one of AbsNoise old favourite is back.
Remember The Exploding Boy? I was stuck the first time I heard their music. I’m still amazed they have not gained the success they deserve. Especially since their sound is mainstream. Dark but melodic. Kind of "Interpol meets The Cure".
Good news, their brand new release, London, is as brilliant as their past "hits" Cold things start to burn and Better than fine. If the song will be officially out on the 1st of February, you can download it right now in Absolut Noise for free (only for few days). An exclusive is always cool!

Aujourd’hui, petite entourloupe à ma série sur les nouveaux venus de la scène rock suédoise. La raison : un des vieux chouchous d’AbsNoise est de retour.
Vous vous souvenez de The Exploding Boy ? Ils m’avaient épaté la première fois que je les avais écoutés. Aujourd’hui encore, je ne m’explique pas comment ils en sont restés à leur anonymat. Leur son est pourtant grand public. Sombre mais mélodique. Un peu façon « Interpol rencontre The Cure ».
Bonne nouvelle, leur toute fraiche chanson, London, est aussi réussie que Cold Things start to Burn ou Better than fine, leurs anciens « tubes ». Et si le morceau sort le 1er février prochain, vous pouvez le télécharger dès aujourd’hui sur Absolut Noise (pour quelques jours seulement). Une exclu c'est toujours cool !
