Le nouveau Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) de New York a été inauguré le 27 septembre dans ses nouveaux locaux situés à Columbus Circle.
L'exposition inaugurale qui s'intitule "Second Lives: Remixing the Ordinary", présente les oeuvres de 50 artistes du monde entier, créées et "remixées" à partir d'objets ordinaires.
The Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) opened in a new building at 2 Columbus Circle on September 27th, 2008 and the inaugural exhibition is called: "Second Lives: Remixing the Ordinary".
The exhibition features work by 50 international established and emerging artists from all five continents who create objects and installations comprised of ordinary and everyday manufactured articles, most originally made for another functional purpose.
