LMP 47 : Beck - Where It’s At (San Francisco 31/08/2008)

Moi j’ai toujours aimé Beck. Depuis le début. Avant Loser même. Dommage qu’il ait rejoint l’Eglise de Scientologie. Du coup, je ne l’écoute plus de la même façon.

Reste que le garçon est un sacré artiste, mais que je ne sais pas quoi penser. En plus les avis sont unanimes : ses performances en concert ne sont plus celles d’antan (moi même j’avais été un peu blasé en le voyant à Fourvière il y’ pas mal d’années).

Et vous, ça vous dérange d’écouter ce morceau ?

Ghettochip Malfunction and Black Tambourine were both “live remixed” by the band standing at the front of the stage with drum machines and beck scratching with an ipod.

crowd noise is what it is.  The show itself sounds pretty good other than a few incidents with the crowd, mostly the drink waitress that barges through the audience.  Unfortunately she kinda bumped my mic cables and I got a few hits of noise when she did.
