Car le 10 septembre (ITV2) débarquent les No Heroics.

Excelsor, The Hotness, Electroclash, Timebomb, She-Force et Praying Mantis sont des héros un peu bidons et surtout complètement paumés. Je…Non, je peux pas en dire plus, il faut voir la bande-annonce^^.

ITV2 today announced the channel’s first ever original situation comedy commission from Tiger Aspect.

Commissioned by Controller, ITV2 Zai Bennett and ITV’s Director of Entertainment & Comedy, Paul Jackson, No Heroics follows the very real lives of four off-duty superheroes in London, their struggles in love and their bigger struggles with fame – or lack of it.

The series will go into production early next year for transmission in late 2008.

Zai Bennett said:

“We’re taking real strides forward in comedy and as the channel’s first ever original commissioned sitcom, No Heroics will play a huge part in that strategy. This is a perfect ITV2 comedy, it’s witty, accessible and laugh out loud funny and is being produced with real passion from a great team.”

Drew Pearce, Tiger Aspect said:

“I’m extremely excited and pleased to be part of ITV2’s push into scripted comedy, under the leadership of Zai and Paul Jackson. The superhero genre certainly seems ripe for a very British take on the subject, plus I have about twenty years worth of comic books that I’m looking forward to finally being able to claim as expenses”
