Busta Rhymes "African music has always set the tone for world music"

American hiphop heavyweight, Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr., widely known in music as Busta Rhymes has said the beats and rhythms of African music has since time immemorial set the tone for world music.


The star who recently rocked the opening show of the sixth season of the Big Brother Africa reality show - Big Brother Amplified - disclosed in an interview with Big Brother Africa journalists that the authenticity of Africa’s music sets it apart from the rest of the world.He stated that, “I personally think that, what sets African music apart from the rest of the world is just the authenticity of the rhythm, the vibe and the energy and the overall spirit of the music.”The rapper, songwriter, producer and actor added that, “I think that at the end of the day, the beat and the rhythm of African music I think pretty much sets the tone of all music and that what its been since the beginning of time.”Aspire for greatnessBusta Rhymes, who started doing music at the age of 16 and shot into fame with his 1996 solo hitWoo Hah!!
